Window Vortex Apparition

Window Vortex Apparition: "-

Window Vortex Apparition

This happened about three years ago. I'm a 58-year-old grandmother and not prone to an overactive imagination. I rented a two-story, three-bedroom old Victorian house that was built in 1898 in a small farming community in Washington State.

The house has a front door that enters in on a parlor room. To the right are the stairs going up to the second floor. On the first floor landing, there is a medium-sized rectangle window that looks out over the wraparound porch. I decided to get artistic one day and purchased something called Gallery Glass.

This is a clear liquid plastic that is brightly colored, and when dried, it looks like stained glass. It really does. I made a round circle in the center of the window, then drew lines extending outward from the edge of the circle to make it look like a sun.

I had taken the window out and laid it flat so the liquid wouldn't run and it could set up. All the colors I used were applied in long, straight streaks, moving from the center to the outer edge. The center was a solid color and applied the same way. Nowhere on the window did I make any kind of round or swirly kind of design in the picture.

All color was applied like I said -- in straight lines, working from the top to the bottom. When I put the window back in and stepped back to admire my work, I noticed the strangest thing: it looked like I was looking down a tunnel. I could see the yard and trees through the colors in the window, but it's as if they were wrapped around a tunnel.

It just kept going, with trees, bushes, and the like, showing in a vortex like circle. Everyone is amazed when they look through the window. When you stand outside and look in, you do not see this. It looks fuzzy and you really can't see anything clearly through the faux glass effect. So very strange.
