human remains removal stories. A Bloody Mess

well here's another one for you.
this one was far from ordinary.
it was a real busy night that night i think at the time i was up for over 30 hours i think i transported about 12 or 13 bodies that day. well it was about 22:00 when i received this call it was a county call so i knew it was not going to be ordinary by any means , but i was in for the shock of my career.

it wasn't to for from my house so i got there pretty quick.

it was an older mobile home, well it was a trailer 70s style wood paneling green carpet retro to the core.
well back to the storey.

i walk um the steps through about 5 cops and fire fighters, i think i had one of my new guys with me i really don't remember. we walked into the house, and to the right of the front door is the living room there were some family members sitting on the fernicher.

crying and carrying on about what happened they were crying so bad that i could not understand what they were saying.

when i roll on to a scene as a rep. for the county im not allowed to talk with the family members. its my job to bag tag and transport the decedent to the morgue.

well after seeing what was going on in the living room i looked left and o.m.g. wait one sec. lemme back up a sec.
i was talking to the fire fighters and i asked them what was going on. they were saying that the family just found out she had lung cancer, and that they were just sitting around the tv talking when she started coughing and coughing over and over then there was a weird sound and blood was coming out of her mouth and she kept coughing over and over. well what they said happened was she coughed so much and so hard that she broke a blood clot from the cancer and no sooner than she got the blood out of her lungs they filled with blood again.

ok lets go back to the body i look on the floor and i have never in my whole career seen so much blood.

she actually coughed so hard that one of her lungs broke loose and was hanging out of her mouth.

now I've been to some bloody crime scenes but this was more like a horror movie blood on the walls floor table chairs fridge sink. ect it was every where.

this brings up a really good question.....

why in the hell do people smoke cigarettes?

let me tell you this if they were on this sene and seen this i think the smoker would think twice about smoking

sence that call i have recieved 6 more just like it.

choking on your own blood drowning in your own blood cant be any fun. in fact it has to rank up there on the charts for not a good way to die.
